Lampang House is situated in suburban of Lampang province at Tambon Pa Tan, Amphoe Mae Tha. The site is more or less like a quarter shape surrounded by neighbors’ house and opposite to the local spiritual pavilion which is the center of community. Moreover, along the curved boundary of the site is facing to the magnificent panoramic view of Mae Chang River and mountainous landscape.

The house consists of 3 masses of building connected together with the corridor in L-shape, which create the green inner courtyard of the house. Therefore, this courtyard could perform as a private open space serving the recreation activities of the house and also grant the nice inner view to the dwellers. In addition, all the function occupying in those 3 masses are organized along the curved edge which could overlook to the beautiful panoramic view of nature outside.

The louver was designed as a tool to define blurred boundary of the house which the natural light could seep into the interior space. The wooden louver wasn’t only be used for the wall screen but also the roof plane of the house allowing inhabitants to observe the change of natural environment from time to time.
