Spaces are arranged systematically to respond to the functional needs; white is should also possess its own unique atmosphere from grand central foyer to transitional space like corridors linking rooms.

After graduating from Silpakorn University with honours in 2000, Nantapon was awarded first prize in the 12th Takiron International Design Competition – a design competition on the theme of ‘A House Within Nature’, judged by the acclaimed Japanese Architect, Kengo Kuma.
While practicing at A.Dusitnanond Architect and Associates Co., Ltd. in Bangkok, Nantapon was awarded the Bunka Cho Fellowship Programme by the Japan Institute of Architects in 2002. This granted him an opportunity to conduct a 9-month study and research trip in Japan as well as an internship at the world-renowned office of Toyo Ito & Associates.
In 2005, he was awarded the Royal Thai Government Scholarship to further his study from Design Research Lab (DRL) at the Architectural Association in London. Having graduated from the prestigious AA School and worked on projects such as the Tripoli Administration Complex and DB Frankfurt Art Gallery at Zaha Hadid Architects in London, Nantapon returned to Thailand and founded JUNNARCHITECT in 2008.
Alongside practicing, Nantapon has also taught at the Faculty of Architecture at Silpakorn University since 2007. He was also a committee of the Association of Siamese Architects between 2016-2017, chairman of the Architect Expo 2017, and was recently part of the curatorial team of Thailand Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2018.
Nantapon firmly believes that thorough research and investigation into the site, context and programmes before coming up with the proposal would lead to the design solution unique to every project. His practice and academic works have greatly enriched and provided one another a platform to push the boundaries of architecture – whether the spatial experience, the functional arrangement, or new tectonics or materials.
