N House is located in Ladprao district, one of the most densely built residential areas in Bangkok. The site has a rectangular in shape and the long side oriented from south to north. The foot print area of this three-story house is 220 square meters with the functional area of the 660 square meters. The main approach of this project is to create residential space response to the environmental context. The ground floor plan is placed by the formal living room, dining room, kitchen, and service functions. Consequently, the house were split into two masses in upper level and connected with the semi-outdoor recreation terrace on second floor and small bridge in third floor, respectively. Therefore, this double height space could perform as a observatory overlooked to the swimming pool central court and natural linear landscape in the east. Moreover, with the idea of building separation, this could lead to the well natural ventilation and the building has a suitable orientation fit to the environment. One mass of building in the front is designed for the private living room, small library and working space, whereas, the other one behind is the private functions which are master bedroom and two small bedroom.
